I'm Luke McCoy — the person behind USA Carry, which I've been running since 2007. I shoot USPSA competitively in Carry Optics and made B-class in my first 8 months. I own guns. I carry every day. I do maintenance on my own firearms.
I built Armorer because I wanted it to exist. Not as a product experiment — as a tool I'd actually use. Every feature in this app came from a real problem I had tracking my own collection. When you use Armorer, you're using software built by someone with skin in the game.
I built Armorer as a creator myself. I know what it is like to juggle T&E deadlines, keep a borrowed gun separate from your own, and try to pull a straight answer out of a season's worth of range trips.
So the creator tools are in the app already. There is nothing to apply for and no list to join — open Profile, turn on Creator Features, and the extra fields appear where they belong. Turn it off and nothing is lost; the projects and deadlines are still there when you turn it back on.

The setting lives on your account rather than the device, so it follows you from phone to iPad. Loaner badges stay visible either way — a borrowed gun that looked owned because a setting was off would be the wrong thing to hide.
